LITTLE BIG MAN
How small and fragile would a man be who, suffering deep inside and feeling a huge emptiness, were only looking around himself in search for mystical support, revealed religions, unapplied philosophies and one-way astral trips. This person is insecure, anxious, sad and frightened, as well as restless, irritated and desperate.
Where would such a small and fragile man go who declines to understand himself but, on the other hand, claims to be a scholar of the phenomena PSI, ESP and OBE, of pure paranormality and pretends to be an expert of occultism and a fearless daredevil of mysteries?
Where would such a small and fragile man go who cultivates a daily indifference towards people living close to him but, on the other hand, tries to show vain spates of love towards the Third World?
What will the cybernetic and atomic man become who manipulate gens, DNA, in-vitro-fertilization and who is setting-up for stellar wars? A man who travels in space, splits atoms to free neutrons, but who, after all, doesn’t succeed in erasing his most brute instincts even towards his fellow-men, in controlling himself, in conquering calm, developing analysis and creativity, respecting other ideas and cultures and in building up peacefully, with man and for man, a better present for a possible future.
